There will be no anti-glare coating!
Even before the iPhone 16 was presented, the next generation of iPhone Pro, which was supposed to receive a scratch-resistant anti-glare coating, had been already actively discussed online. But the latest news suggests otherwise.
As reported by MacRumors, Apple has encountered difficulties in increasing the production of screen coating. The process turned out to be time-consuming, so the implementation of the technology was postponed.
Although modern iPhones have a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, they are not protected from scratches. At the same time, the company offers a nano-textured coating for the iPad Pro and Mac.
It is still unknown whether Apple will abandon the innovation completely or implement it in the eighteenth lineup. What do you think about it?
