iPhone 17 Air will be Apple's thinnest smartphone

iPhone 17 Air: Apple's thinnest smartphone

According to Bloomberg, Apple is going to introduce a new product in the iPhone family — the iPhone 17 Air — in early autumn 2025. The key feature will be its minimal thickness.

It is reported that the device will be about 2 mm thinner than current models. This means that its thickness could be from 5.5 to 6.25 mm. For comparison, the thinnest iPhone at the moment is the iPhone 6 (6.9 mm).

Mark Gurman is sure that the reduction in thickness is due not only to the special style but also to the chance for Apple to start creating foldable gadgets.
