iPhone 17 Air: The thinnest iPhone in history

In the fall of 2025, Apple will introduce the iPhone 17 Air, the thinnest smartphone in the company's history.

The MacRumors portal compared the thickness of the future device with other Apple phones. The data from insider Ming Chi-Kuo was used as a basis. He claimed that the thickness of the Air would be 5.5 mm.

Thus, the iPhone 17 Air (5.5 mm) is 30% thinner than the iPhone 16 (7.6 mm) and it is 33% thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro (8.25 mm).

According to experts, the desire to achieve a record thinness may cause changes in the design and functionality of the smartphone. For example, it is already known that the new product will receive one speaker, and one camera and will be released without a SIM tray so as not to reduce the battery capacity.

Is it worth it, what do you think?
