Apple is developing a completely new iPhone 17 model with radical changes in appearance. According to insiders, we are talking about a redesign of the entire lineup, as well as the launch of an ultra-thin version of the smartphone — possibly with the Air prefix.
This model may get a screen diagonal from 6.1 to 6.6 inches, a fresh layout of the front camera located in the center, and a reduced cutout or a dynamic “island” solution.
Apple is also rumored to be experimenting with new case materials — probably with aluminum or even titanium to make the device as light and thin as possible.
The launch of the new product is expected in 2025 along with the iPhone 17 series. It will also feature an updated iPhone 17 Pro Max with a new 48-megapixel telephoto lens optimized for the Vision Pro headset.
Thus, Apple is betting on fresh design, compactness and expansion of the functions of mobile devices, including in the direction of immersive technologies.
